What do you all think? In thirty years will we be heading to Best Buy or Fry's or Circuit City to buy a motorcycle? Will fake leather and armor clad riders sporting eco-friendly tattoos gather behind the local strip malls to eat artery friendly BBQ while telling stories of how loud and noisy and smelly old motorcycles used to be.
Will talk change from Synthetic versus Dino to Fuel Cell versus Nickel Cadmium?
Will us 'old timers' lament the passing of adventure riding? Cruising? Chrome? Loud Pipes? Poker Runs? Long Distance Touring? The tactile sensation of the opposite sex in real leather?
Luckily, most of us will likely have ridden into the sunset before this happens. Thoughts?

45 miles per charge. 4 hrs to charge. did i hear that correct? my thoughts (whether i have the specs correct or not) is that i am happy i will have ridden into the sunset by then... my preference is my vtwin.
Ok I got to admit about 5 years ago I bought an electric chopper for my son at Sears (of all places) he was around 7 or 8 years old. It would do about 25 mph and worked well on grass. Well to make a long story short he rode it everyday for about a year until it broke…yep you guessed it I bought him another one (cost around 200 dollars) he then rode that one until he out grew out of it…next came the Yamaha 50 cc dirt bike…so you see maybe it does not matter where or what you ride as long as you ride…great post.
